Artist's Comments
Shot at the Amersfoort zoo; one of the first shots with my new 105mm macro-lens, almost no editing (I only added the border).
The creature is "Pogona Vitticeps", or "Central Bearded Dragon". Normally, it's beige-yellow-colored, but I was fiddling with whitebalance settings and thought this was kinda cool as well Shot through glass as well, so I'm very happy with the result Comments

All the things that have to be sharp, are sharp. Like the area around the eye and the huge spines at the bottom left of the picture.
The green unsharp background fits the green colour of the lizard and completes the picture. Besides that it makes the lizard pop out of the picutre. So you get 5 stars for impact.
But it almost looks like the area beneath the nostrill isn't sharp.
Also the eye itself is a bit dark. Unfortunately..
In the end this is a nice shot!
